Deputy Finance Minister Alexander Kava wants the road from Kharkiv to Kyiv to take four hours in two years.
The Mintrans transport forum took place on April 8 in Kharkiv. It was addressed by Deputy Finance Minister Alexander Kava, who spoke about plans to reconstruct the Khakrvo-Kiev highway.
“There is an active work on the reconstruction, that is, expansion to four lanes, the section from Poltava to Valok. Now the Ministry of Finance is working on finding funding for the construction of a bypass road in the city of Valky and the reconstruction of up to four lanes of the remaining section of the route from Valky to Kharkiv. I hope that in two years there will be a completely four-lane road from Kyiv to Kharkiv, and without violating traffic rules, it will be possible to get from Kyiv to Kharkiv in four hours, ”he explained.
We will remind, in the territory of the Kharkiv and Poltava areas reconstruct 25 kilometers of the route Kiev - Kharkiv - Dolzhansky. The works are planned to be completed at the end of 2021.
