In the Dnieper, archaeologists have found a probable burial place of Alexander Paul - a prominent figure for Kryvyi Rih and Dnipropetrovsk region. Back in May, an expedition of the Institute of Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine began excavating the foundation of the Lazarev Church, where Alexander Paul is supposedly buried. For many years his grave was considered lost. Scientists have begun excavations in Sevastopol Park to investigate the remains of the structure. Earlier, a team of archaeologists found the burials of four priests near the church, and recently found a crypt with a buried man and woman. Experts with a high probability assume that the found remains belong to Alexander Paul and his wife.
