This is due to a significant and steady increase in the number of active cases of coronavirus in the city. Maksym Skrypnik, Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, spoke about additional quarantine restrictions, which will take effect on October 5.

"Currently, outbreaks of COVID-19 are observed in many countries around the world. Ukraine is no exception. Responsibility for strict compliance with quarantine restrictions - and on each of us, and on local authorities. Unfortunately, recently we have a steady tendency to increase the number of active cases of coronavirus disease in the Dnieper ", - said Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Maksym Skrypnik.

It is important for everyone to follow the basic rules: keep a social distance, wear masks and use disinfectants.

Dnipro in the "orange" zone - is the closure of institutions that provide accommodation services other than hotels. And the restriction of attending classes in vocational schools and universities - only groups of up to 20 people.

There will be no scheduled hospitalizations. Exceptions are the provision of medical care to cancer patients, pregnant women, parturients, newborns, palliative patients, as well as in cases of threat to the patient's life.

Mass events are allowed with the participation of no more than 220 people. At the rate of one person - per 10 sq m of building or territory. The same restrictions will apply to trade and consumer services.

Only gyms and fitness centers will be allowed to operate, which will be able to accommodate no more than 1 person per 10 sq m of space.

Restrictions will also apply in catering establishments. Seating in the premises should be no more than half full.

It should be recalled Kryvyi Rih is now classified as a "yellow" zone. As well as Ternivka, Novomoskovsk, Verkhnodniprovsky, Dniprovsky, Pyatihatsky, Solonyansky and Tsarychansky districts. The rest of the region is "green".
