The unplanned mini-expedition of Kryvyi Rih searchers to the fields of Kirovohrad region has come to an end. Its result impressed even the experienced. In the fields near the village of Bokove, volunteers lifted hundreds of fragments of an IL-2 aircraft from the ground. The search operation was organized urgently - they had just learned that elements of a Soviet attack aircraft shot down during World War II had been found and had already been partially removed by looters. Volunteers were able to establish the names of members of the dead crew. Victoria Simkina will tell this story, the origins of which date back to the same November days of 1943.
