The government has changed the rules for crossing the border for Ukrainians

The government exempts from mandatory self-isolation after crossing the border Ukrainians who have a negative PCR test for coronavirus, who did not later than 72 hours before arrival. To government decrees of December 9, 2020, the relevant changes were made on April 7.

Previously, Ukrainians were exempted from self-isolation if they took PCR tests no later than 48 hours before crossing the border. Condition for PCR test no later than 72 hours earlier worked only for foreigners.

The government also allowed foreign children and stateless children under the age of 12 to cross the border without a PCR test. In addition, foreigners who permanently reside in Ukraine were allowed to go into self-isolation with the installation of the "Action at Home" application.

Previously, such a condition was only for citizens of Ukraine.

We will remind that because of a difficult epidemiological situation and strengthening of quarantine restrictions, since March 22 Ukrainians have to go to self-isolation after border crossing if they don't have a negative test result.
