Ternopil patrols drew up more than sixty administrative protocols for being in public places without masks. Passengers of minibuses and trolleybuses, as well as shoppers most often violated this quarantine rule.

This week, police tightened control over compliance with quarantine requirements. Inspections are conducted in public places.

“There is a problem of people without masks being in public places. We compiled about 60 materials in a week. If the situation becomes more complicated, it is possible to consider the issue of public transport on special routes. Some cities have banned public transport during peak hours. As for taxis, we are working preventively so far. We emphasize checking for taxis. Taxi drivers carry out disinfection, they have to carry it out after each passenger, ”said the head of the Regional Patrol Police, Bohdan Shevchuk.

We will remind, now for lack of a mask militiamen fine on the spot. The fine is from 175 to 255 hryvnias.
