At Yagodyna, goods worth over a million hryvnias were confiscated

A DAF truck driven by a Ukrainian citizen was stopped at the Yahodyn customs post, where undeclared goods worth over one million hryvnias were found.

This was reported by the press service of the Volyn customs of the State Customs Service.

On March 18.03.2020, 6, on the way from the Republic of Poland to Ukraine, a DAF truck driven by a citizen of Ukraine entered the customs control zone of the Yahodyn customs post of the Volyn customs. Accompanying documents were submitted to the customs control, according to which furniture and lighting fixtures with a textural value of $ 529 were moved. During the inspection, the undeclared goods were found and the packaging markings, the country of furniture production (Kingdom of Sweden), where, according to the driver's explanation, the car was loaded, were established. Subsequently, the value of the goods was determined at $ 37, ”the statement reads.

Customs officers drew up a report on violation of customs rules, according to which goods worth more than one million hryvnias were seized before a court decision.
