The court decided to collect from Medvedchuk almost 140 thousand for "Stus's case"

The Kyiv Court of Appeal ruled to recover the People's Deputy Victor Medvedchuk reimbursement of Vivat's expenses for the case concerning the ban on distribution of the book Vakhtanga Kipiani "The case of Vasyl Stus" in the amount of about 140 thousand hryvnias.

As transmitted Ukrinform, about it the lawyer of the journalist Vyacheslav Yakubenko wrote on Facebook.

"The Court of Appeal granted the application of the Vivat publishing house and with an additional ruling collected from Medvedchuk 139,5 thousand hryvnias spent by the publishing house on legal assistance in the appellate instance," the lawyer wrote.

Yakubenko believes that Medvedchuk will file a cassation appeal against the court's decision.
