The 24-year-old from Kharkiv became the absolute champion in the weight category up to 76 kg, showing the best result in the jerk (113 kg), push (135 kg) and in the sum of the duel (248 kg).
Ukrainian in the fight for the title of the strongest weightlifter of the continent ahead of the Russians Jan Sotiev (246 kg in the amount of the duel) and Anastasia Romanov (243 kg).
According to the regulations at the European Championships, medals are awarded separately for each type of duel and for the amount. Therefore, our compatriot has three gold awards.
As we reported, previously a gold medal at the European Weightlifting Championships Kamila Konotop from Kharkiv won. The girl became the first in the weight category up to 55 kg.
